About Seaview Cafe
The Seaview Beach Cafe has been owned by the same family for over 27 years.
Louise has always strived to keep it a traditional seaside cafe, offering simple fayre and excellent value for money. Everything you need for a family day at the beach is available from the cafe's shop, to include buckets, spades, kites, rock pooling nets, beach shoes and lots more.
Sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, probably the best bacon sandwiches on the coast, a variety of snacks, bean to cup coffee including DeCaf and Oatmilk, Including Fresh Cooked Donuts! with either plain or cinnamon sugar.
We now stock the Award Winning Ronaldo Ices, now in a huge 28 flavours! , as well as other popular ice creams.
Did you know there has been a cafe situated at West Runton Gap for over 100 years!
During this time the cafe has seen many changes, not only in ownership, but also in appearance! The present building was constructed in the 1960's.
We are a seasonal business open this year from 25th March to the end of September, opening daily.
Why not come and browse our new fossil display, possibly the biggest in a cafe on the coast!
Now including a Tibia from the Original West Runton Mammoth!! The only example outside of the Museum Service !
A large variety of bones and teeth from Southern Mammoth, Steppe Mammoth, Various Woolly Mammoth fossils including a complete bottom jaw with teeth! Woolly Rhino, Steppe Bison, Hyena, Semi- precious stones, Neanderthal hand axes, tools and amazing flints! Now including a Giant Deer Talus bone with butcher marks, approx 800,000 years old!
The Shack, Cabin, & Shed
On our patio, "The Shack" is open, a special place to get that unique gift and to get any of your beach finds / fossils identified!
"The Cabin" and "The Shed" are now community huts, are you crafter? a hobby painter? The Cabin and The Shed are available for you to show your wares for free, get in touch, we are now taking bookings! Unfortunately no car boot, food or market stall traders.!
