Meet Mr Pickles!
Mr Pickles is an African Grey Parrot, who is currently 10 years old but could live up to 80. He travels to work every day to the cafe, only if he chooses.
If you visit, why not come and say Hi or even have a "bob" with him!
He is located at the rear of the cafe overlooking the sea. He knows around 250 words and sounds, this growing by the day. He is happy to whistle
" Oh I do like to be beside the seaside" and the Mission Impossible theme tune! amongst many others. However he loves to listen, your accent, male, female, high pitch low pitch he listens to it all, should he like something you have said, he will repeat this on the way home at night!
African Grey Parrots are currently on the Endangered Species List, due to poaching from the wild, however the laws are changing to protect them and other parrot species.
